The Superior Weapons Systems Free Float Tube
Please find below some guidelines for installing the free float tube.

Directions only for the DPMS with a standard free float tube.

1) Remove magazine and make sure chamber is clear and not loaded.
2) Loosen gas block and remove.
3) Unscrew lock ring from the free float tube (turn counterclockwise viewed from facing butt)

4) Grab the hand guard at half-way point then turn counterclockwise to loosen as viewed from the muzzle end.
5) Remove current tube.

6) Remove barrel nut

7) Install new lock ring and SWS barrel nut
8) Slide new tube into position over the barrel.
9) Slide gas block on into position and line up with gas tube hole.
 *Note* - Gas tube must be partially installed before threading the new tube on.
10) Tighten new tube onto the lock ring.
11) Tighten gas block into place.
12) Installed and ready to use.
